The refrigerant used in all Snowflake GII HC models is R290.

This agent is a natural gas that enhances the performance of the refrigerated counter and has, compared to other refrigerants, a minimal ozone depletion potential. R290 is one of the view refrigerants compliant with the called F-Gas Regulation, issued by the European Commission. This regulation aims to phase out HFCs (Hydrofluorocarbons) as of 2020 to make space for eco-friendlier alternatives and substances, such as HCs (Hydrocarbon), and find more information about the F-Gas regulation here.
